Sapho wins Startup50’s Big 50-2017 award for Tech Startups of the Year

We are excited to announce that Sapho earned a spot in Startup50’s Big 50-2017 report, an annual roundup compiled by journalist Jeff Vance that represents the top tech startups of the year.

The competition started with more than 160 startups and the final companies were chosen through a rigorous vetting process, including numerous rounds of online voting, and questionnaires. We are honored to be recognized alongside other notable companies in the tech community as an innovative startup solving some of today’s most pressing real-world problems in the enterprise.

“This recognition further validates our belief that lack of application usage has real implications for the bottom lines in the enterprise,” said Fouad ElNaggar, CEO and co-founder of Sapho. “As companies continue to recognize the connection between employee engagement and improved productivity and satisfaction, they will be faced with the challenge of how best to modernize employee experiences while still leveraging existing infrastructure, security practices, and tools.

This acknowledgement comes after a great year of achievements. In 2017, Sapho closed a Series B funding at $14M and announced exciting partnerships with IBM, Microsoft, and VMware. In addition, Sapho was named a Gartner Cool Vendor and named among CRN’s emerging vendors for making data relevant for employees.
