Director, Demand Generation

Sapho is tripling productivity and effectiveness by putting personalized and relevant tasks and information at employees’ fingertips. We’re looking for a Director of Demand Generation to join our Marketing team in San Bruno.

The ideal candidate will be able to execute strategic marketing campaigns, manage inbound and outbound lead programs, nurture our active database, and drive awareness and pipeline growth. This role will report to our VP of Marketing and will collaborate extensively with product and sales teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive our multi-channel marketing programs to drive marketing growth by developing campaign strategies, building campaigns, and optimizing for spend and performance
  • Facilitate marketing campaign prioritization in collaboration with internal stakeholders, and develop a consistent planning and campaign management process
  • Build and manage a calendar for demand generation programs to provide transparency for and create alignment with key stakeholders
  • Design and build content assets such as landing pages, email marketing campaigns, and online banner ads
  • Ongoing campaign analysis and optimizations of ads, landing pages, and email and nurture campaigns through A/B testing and other methods
  • Manage and optimize digital channels, such as ad spend across SEM (PPC/CPM), retargeting, and display
  • Manage budget and digital media agencies to achieve agreed-upon business outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a high-tech B2B demand generation role (amongst other industry experience)
  • Proven track record of creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, email, digital advertising, and social networking
  • Experience building, launching, and reporting on campaigns using Hubspot and Salesforce.com
  • Experience with targeting, segmentation, and list acquisition to build prospect lists for demand gen campaigns
  • Knowledge of the B2B purchase process and how to identify opportunities to create demand and help accelerate opportunities
  • Familiarity with the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth
  • Strong knowledge of measurement tools, such as Google Analytics, and can tell a story with data, articulate what’s working/what’s not, and set a vision for how we’ll further evolve our campaigns approach
